While the average turnover in the software industry is 11%, Mitchell’s IS department successfully limited turnover to 5% in 2005, (a 3% decrease from 2004) compared to the division average of 25%. The VP ISattributes increased retention and improved morale to continued reinforcement and integration of the Excellence principles.
